All 14 bridges superstructures have been completed. There will be additional weekend work during the remainder of the month of August to complete associated road and bridge improvements within the project limits. Completed: June 3 - June 6
Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 northbound over Riverside Ave
This 205-foot-long, three-span concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 northbound over Riverside Avenue in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of June 3rd. At 6:00 PM on June 3, Riverside Avenue will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM, northbound traffic will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Riverside Avenue and I-93 will fully reopen to traffic at 5:00 AM on Monday, June 6.

Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 northbound over Salem Street eastbound
This 160-foot-long, three-span concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 northbound over Salem Street / Route 60 eastbound in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of June 10. At 6:00 PM on June 10, Salem Street / Route 60 will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on June 10, northbound traffic on I-93 will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Both roads will fully reopen at 5:00 AM on Monday, June 13. Concurrent work: I-93 northbound over Salem Street / Route 60 westbound.
Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 northbound over Salem Street westbound
This 160-foot-long, three-span concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 northbound over Salem Street / Route 60 westbound in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of June 10. At 6:00 PM on June 10, Salem Street / Route 60 will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on June 10, northbound traffic on I-93 will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Both roads will fully reopen at 5:00 AM on Monday, June 13. Concurrent work: I-93 northbound over Salem Street / Route 60 eastbound.

Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 northbound over Route 16
This 335-foot-long, four-span, concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 northbound over Route 16 in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of June 17. At 6:00 PM on June 17, Route 16 will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on June 17, northbound traffic on I-93 will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Route 16 and I-93 will be fully reopened to traffic at 5:00 AM on Monday, June 20.

Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 northbound over Valley Street and Fellsway
This 115-foot-long, single-span, concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 northbound over Valley Street and Route 28 in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of June 24. At 6:00 PM on June 24, Valley Street and Route 28 southbound will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on June 24, northbound traffic on I-93 will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Both roads will fully reopen to traffic at 5:00 AM on Monday, June 27. Concurrent work: I-93 NB over the Mystic River.
Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 northbound over Mystic River
This bridge carries I-93 northbound over the Mystic River. It will be replaced during the weekends of June 24 and July 8. On each weekend, I-93 northbound traffic will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway at 8:00 PM on Friday. I-93 will be fully reopened at 5:00 AM on the following Mondays. The Mystic River will not be open for nautical travel while the work zone is active. Concurrent work: weekend of June 24, I-93 NB over Valley Street and Route 28; weekend of July 8, I-93 northbound over Webster Street.

Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 northbound over Mystic River
This bridge carries I-93 northbound over the Mystic River. It will be replaced during the weekends of June 24 and July 8. On each weekend, I-93 northbound traffic will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway at 8:00 PM on Friday. I-93 will be fully reopened at 5:00 AM on the following Mondays. The Mystic River will not be open for nautical travel while the work zone is active. Concurrent work: weekend of June 24, I-93 NB over Valley Street; weekend of July 8, I-93 northbound over Webster Street.
Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 northbound over Webster Street
This 135-foot-long, three-span, concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 northbound over Webster Street in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of July 8. At 6:00 PM on July 8, Webster Street will close near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on July 8, northbound traffic on I-93 will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Both roads will fully reopen at 5:00 AM on Monday, July 11. Concurrent work: I-93 northbound over Mystic River.

Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 southbound over Salem Street westbound
This 160-foot-long, three-span concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 southbound over Salem Street / Route 60 westbound in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of July 15. At 6:00 PM on July 15, Salem Street / Route 60 will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on July 15, southbound traffic on I-93 will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Both roads will fully reopen at 5:00 AM on Monday, July 18. Concurrent work: I-93 southbound over Salem Street / Route 60 eastbound.

This 160-foot-long, three-span concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 southbound over Salem Street / Route 60 eastbound in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of July 15. At 6:00 PM on July 15, Salem Street / Route 60 will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on July 15, southbound traffic on I-93 will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Both roads will fully reopen at 5:00 AM on Monday, July 18. Concurrent work: I-93 southbound over Salem Street / Route 60 westbound.

Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 southbound over Valley Street and Fellsway
This 235-foot-long, two-span, concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 southbound over Valley Street and Route 28. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of July 22. At 6:00 PM on July 22, Valley Street and Route 28 southbound will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on July 22, southbound traffic on I-93 will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Both roads will fully open to traffic at 5:00 AM on Monday, July 25. Concurrent work: I-93 southbound over the Mystic River.
Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 southbound over Mystic River
This bridge carries I-93 southbound over the Mystic River. It will be replaced during the weekends of July 22 & July 29. On each weekend, I-93 southbound traffic will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway at 8:00 PM on Friday. I-93 will fully reopen at 5:00 AM on the following Mondays. The Mystic River will not be open for nautical travel when the work zone is active. Concurrent work: weekend of July 22, I-93 SB over Valley Street and Route 28; weekend of July 8, I-93 Southbound over Webster Street.

Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 southbound over Webster Street
This 135-foot-long, three-span, concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 southbound over Webster Street in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of July 29. At 6:00 PM on July 29, Webster Street will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on July 29, southbound traffic on I-93 will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway. Both roads will fully reopen at 5:00 AM on Monday, August 1. Concurrent work: I-93 southbound over Mystic River.
Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 southbound over Mystic River
This bridge carries I-93 southbound over the Mystic River. It will be replaced during the weekends of July 22 & July 29. On each weekend, I-93 southbound traffic will cross over onto the opposite side of the highway at 8:00 PM on Friday. I-93 will fully reopen at 5:00 AM on the following Mondays. The Mystic River will not be open for nautical travel when the work zone is active. Concurrent work: weekend of July 22, I-93 SB over Valley Street; weekend of July 8, I-93 Southbound over Webster Street.

This 205-foot-long, three-span, concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 southbound over Riverside Avenue in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of August 5. Replacement of the bridge that carries I-93 southbound over Route 16
This 335-foot-long, four-span, concrete-and-steel bridge carries I-93 southbound over Route 16 in Medford. Its superstructure will be replaced on the weekend of August 12th. At 6:00 PM on August 12, Route 16 will be closed near the bridge. At 8:00 PM on August 12, southbound traffic on I-93 will crossed over onto the opposite side of the highway. Route 16 and I-93 will fully reopen to traffic at 5:00 AM on Monday, August 15
